No. The $199 fee covers the cost of a thorough, independent review — it does not guarantee a passing result. Businesses must meet 17 of 20 checklist items and all five mandatory gates to be approved.
Businesses meeting 14–16 items receive a 30-day improvement window and one free re-review. Below 14 items, or failure of a mandatory gate, means the business isn't approved for this pilot cycle.
Only after your business is approved and your profile is activated. You won't be charged a membership fee during the assessment or improvement process.
Verification is time-limited and reviewed annually. Businesses agree to report material changes and renew each year to keep their badge active.
